The E. Meier Asphalt and Concrete Proposal is a Powerful Communication Device

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where your out of town boss wants to know which repairs you’re going to have performed on your parking lots? You’ve tried to explain to him or her which areas: “Remember the potholes in the drive lanes over on the west side of the property”, you said. She said in reply, “Huh?”

E. Meier Contracting has the solution to this common dilemma: The proposals from E. Meier Contracting include an aerial photo of your site plan with the areas clearly located and numbered on the plan or photo. Some other contractors have followed our lead and are now offering this. But E. Meier goes one step further. This step really makes us stand out from the competition.

Allow E. Meier Contracting to Provide you with your Next Concrete and Asphalt Proposal

Point #1:

The E. Meier proposal is archival.
The Merriam-Webster On-Line Dictionary defines Archival as: “Of, relating to, contained in, suitable for, or constituting archives.”

Ever wonder which areas you had repaired on your site 3 years ago? How about last year? If your memory is like mine, perhaps you are wondering which areas you had repaired this spring

Communication + Planning = Successful Project

E. Meier Contracting was asked in the Winter of 2011-2012 to evaluate all hard surfaces at a church in South St. Louis County. The church also has a school on site and the campus is heavily used by all sorts of groups 7 days a week from 7:30 am until 10pm. The church and school were originally built in the mid 1950’s and have been added on to and renovated. Thus the hard surfaces, both Concrete and Asphalt, are of varying ages and condition.

The evaluation process started with a meeting between E. Meier staff and the church Business Manager. The objective was to establish a list of priorities. In other words, which areas are most heavily used and most important? Which areas are least important? When is the best time of year to do removal and replacement of Asphalt and Concrete? What budget does E. Meier have to work with? How will schedule changes be handled? What forms of communication work best with the church offices? How will the school office be notified of scheduled work and schedule changes?
