Finn Apartments: Milling & Paving Project

The owners of Finn Apartments in Hazelwood, Missouri reached out to E. Meier Contracting to address significant wear and tear on the property’s drive lanes. The asphalt in these areas was in poor condition, with a combination of large cracks and several potholes, creating potential safety hazards for residents and visitors. The property owner, a long-term client of E. Meier, knew they could rely on us to restore the drive lanes.
E. Meier undertook the project as a milling and paving operation, where the top layer of the damaged asphalt was removed (milled) and then replaced with fresh pavement. The project was split into two phases to minimize the inconvenience to the residents. The project required precise coordination to allow residents to move their vehicles, and safety measures such as cones, signage, and caution tape were employed to protect both workers and residents. Our team worked alongside the property managers every step of the way to make the project run smoothly for them and the residents of the community.
The result was a fully restored and functional drive lane system that significantly improved both the safety and the appearance of the property. The owners were very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the work. As a result of their satisfaction, E. Meier has continued to maintain a strong working relationship with them, providing services for several of their other properties after this project was completed.
