Metro West Fire Protection District Station 3 Concrete & Asphalt Resurfacing

Our team completed a multi-phase asphalt and concrete improvement project at Metro West Fire Protection District’s Station 3. Having worked with Metro West Fire for several years, this project represented our largest scope of work with the district to date.

On the west side of the station, we installed a new eight-inch thick reinforced concrete pad, giving crews a durable surface to pull fire trucks and equipment out for washing, drills, and daily operations. For the remainder of the property, we completed a two-inch mill and overlay of the existing parking lot and restriped the lot upon completion. We also recently completed a new trench drain system at the same location, further improving the site’s long-term performance.

Because keeping the station fully operational was non-negotiable, we structured the work as a three-phase project. Starting on the west side and systematically moving to the east side and upper entrance block ensured trucks could always move in and out of the bays without interruption. The project was completed on time and on budget, and the Metro West Fire Protection District was happy with the results.
