Monarch Fire and EMS Training Center Parking Expansion
Project Client: Monarch Fire Protection District
We partnered with the Monarch Fire Protection District to expand parking and improve functionality at their training center, a facility used by crews from Monarch and surrounding districts. The existing layout made it difficult to conduct full-scale training exercises while accommodating participant parking, especially when fire apparatus were staged near the simulator building.
To support their growing training needs, our team installed a new concrete parking lot addition designed to relocate attendee vehicles away from the active training area. We also constructed a gravel storage lot, giving Monarch a dedicated space to store specialty equipment that had previously been kept on bare ground. These upgrades allow the district to run larger training events without interrupting access or safety.
Because the center operates on a scheduled training calendar, coordination was essential. Our crews completed the project during a one-week window with no training activities on site, ensuring zero disruption to Monarch’s operations. The work was delivered on time and within budget, aided by favorable summer weather conditions.
E. Meier has served the Monarch Fire Protection District for many years, and we are proud to continue supporting their mission through high-quality concrete and site improvement work.
