St. Charles Convention Center: Specialized Concrete Surface Installation with Minimal Disruption

We worked with the team at the St. Charles Convention Center to revitalize the facility’s upper and lower-level concrete pedestrian areas. The project involved removing and replacing deteriorated concrete and select stamped sections, stabilizing the sub-base, and installing a new Meramec gravel exposed aggregate finish. This specialized finish creates a textured, high-end look that enhances both durability and aesthetics.
One of the challenges on this project was ensuring the property remained fully operational during the work. We coordinated with the facility’s Director of Operations to complete the work in phases, ensuring that foot traffic flowed smoothly and events remained undisturbed while still meeting the project’s timeline.
